Registered Nurse (RN) I - Clinics Ambulatory - FT
Overview:
The Oklahoma Wound Care Center is the largest outpatient wound center in the Oklahoma City area.
We see a wide variety of patients and their wounds.
Most commonly seen is the diabetic foot ulcer, but we also treat surgical, traumatic and burn wounds.
The staff play a vital role in assessing and treating simple to complex wounds.
Nursing staff collaborate closely with physicians to achieve healing.
The Oklahoma Wound Care Center is a busy and very fast paced clinic with 3 wound care specialized physicians, 10 exam rooms and 4 hyperbaric oxygen chambers.
Responsibilities:
Provides direct care to clinic patients under the direction of the clinical supervisor.
Working autonomously, the RNa accepts responsibility and accountability for assigned patients as a case manager to plan, implement, and evaluate the care for clients according to age-specific criteria.
The RN works within the State Practice Act and follows all WCC and hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education RN Required Experience Two years RN experience in an acute care setting preferred (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
Compensation/Benefits $22.
00-$35.
93/hr depending on previous work experience.
